X-ONE is a cross-training gym located in Vigo, Spain. For this rebrand, the main goal was to vectorize the old logo and make it look less aggressive and more family-friendly. The aim was for everyone who sees it to feel welcome to join the gym, rather than intimidated.
The most challenging part was achieving this transformation without losing the essence that has been effective for over five years.
First, the shadows needed to be removed, and simplifying the design became my mantra. I relocated a few elements and changed the name to Fit X-One, or the longer version, X-One Fitness Club. As the main element of the logo looked more friendly, we needed to retain the original essence, which is where the typeface came in. It has a military look, reflecting the origins of cross-training in military training.
In the end, I created brand guidelines for them to follow, including some logo variations. My client was satisfied with the result, and not many changes were needed.
Promotional Video – Motion Graphics
The main goal of this promotional video was to attract new members to the gym during the summer. We know that summer is the season when most people abandon their fitness routines to enjoy outdoor activities in the warm and sunny weather. But, what if we could stay fit and still enjoy all the wonderful things summer offers? That’s what I aimed to reflect in this short, 1 minute and 45 seconds long video.
Here, I have some screenshots of the entire process involved, so you can see how I like to get things done 🙂

We all reached the same conclusions. Some of the feedback I received includes:
- “Very energetic, gets you motivated.”
- “It suits a male audience thanks to the strong and rough graphics.”
- “Rough and ready type.”
- “Design and textures are very unique.”
- “I was able to read everything easily throughout while still noticing the animations.”
Overall, I think that in general, the video effectively conveyed the intended message. So that is a good sign that a good job has been done and that it is ready to present to the target group and see how they will respond.
